So, you've booked your venue? You've tasted your food choices? (and flitted between them all!) Now it's time for the little details. As a photographer, I am biased, but I LOVE the confetti shot. It's an explosion of joy and captures amazingly on camera.

There's a trick to getting an amazing confetti shot. You'll be thinking, how much confetti is too much confetti? The answer is, 'the limit does not exist'

Each venue will have their own rules and guidelines for confetti, so it's always worth asking them this before you set your heart on a particular type of confetti. My personal favourite is rice paper. It flutters, spreads and glows in the light!

But if your venue is limiting it to rose petals only? No fret! These are equally STUNNING.

The next trick is to throw the confetti UP, UP and AWAY! Guests will be reminded of this when it comes to the moment. No one wants rose petals thrown at their faces...

So load up those baskets, imagine your guests having two FULL hand fulls of confetti. That's the aim!
