Something truly glorious about being a photographer, is the return of lovely growing families for photos. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm, not talking about white walls and cheesy smiles. My family shoots are much more natural.

I photographed Lora's family back in the Autumn, and was so blown away by Lora asking to photographs them again this summer. This time, focusing on little Clementine who begins school soon. We went on a little woodland adventure in Thornden woods. It sits between Whitstable and Canterbury and is the perfect place to explore with children and adults alike.
It was 32 degrees C this day, and the mosquitoes were out in force! But in reality, these to made it so easy. I always aim for 99% candid photography, with 1% guidance where I sense it's needed. To me, the true emotion is in the candid moments, the connections between people and the magic it brings. I honestly couldn't be happier with this summer time shoot, and I'm so excited to have more lined up around Kent in the next few months.

Lots of love
